My dear wife and I have lived in Carrollwood since the 1970's. We love it here. Never thought that it could be any better than this, but with the support of friends, neighbors and businesses around, together we have begun a movement of historic proportions. After 40 years of service the sewer plant immediately adjacent to my humble neighborhood will be closing for business. Not a moment too soon. It was stinky. Smelly. An eyesore. It was built by the developer who created Carrollwood Village as was the norm at the time (1970's). Now owned by Hillsborough County, it has wisely deemed the end of "Delwood's" useful life. Hurrah! Once the facility is off line, left behind will be 50+ acres of greenspace. Glorious lawns, a 13 acre pond, woodlands and fields. We neighbors wish this to be a park. Will you join our movement? Add your name, please. See you at the park, as soon as possible.

Volunteering

If you're a park enthusiast or just want to give back to your community, we could use your help! Whether it's sharing information about the project at a booth or databasing signatures, your help is vital.

ATTEND A MEETING

Be in the loop. We work hard to gather awareness and support for the project and often have important figures attend our meetings to give their input.

It's up to you

With your support, we can tell the county commissioners that we want a new park. Would you like to have an additional 50 acres of green space to enjoy?
